Well Child Visits

Well Child Visits

To keep your children healthy, it is important to bring them in for regular check-ups, sometimes called “yearly physicals” or “comprehensive health care” visits. During these visits, we examine your child and evaluate your child’s age-specific growth, development, nutrition, medications, vaccine needs, safety, and all specific conditions.

We will be happy to complete your childcare, school, travel, camp, and sports forms based on these exams.

Plan your preventative health care visits for ages 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 24 months, 30 months, and then a yearly well check up to the age of 21.

We recommend that you call one of our offices several weeks in advance so you may choose a date that best fits your schedule.

Sports Physicals

Please remember that “sports physicals” performed at other sites are limited evaluations and do not constitute a yearly comprehensive health care visit.

We encourage you to bring your sports approval forms to us for completion, and we have extra Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) forms available in the office, for your convenience.

We follow the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Sports Medicine guidelines.
